Show LOCALS Joseph F. Munlock has gone to Mo. dena to work. Mrs. E. L. Smith is visiting her folks in Idaho. Powell Smith has gone to Black-rock Black-rock for an indefinite stay. Mrs. M. K. Johnson is spending a few days in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Jack Weston of Cedar City has been visiting her mother, Mrs. Schow. Mrs. Marie Benoit of Los Angeles is visiting with her sister, Mrs. M. J. Donnelan. Mrs. 11. M. Hearn has returned from Salt Lake, where she visited last week. Mrs. Marie Fouts returned home Sunday from a brief visit in Salt Lake City. Miss Jean Woodside left Friday for Salt Lake City to spend the week-end with relatves. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Yersin were in from Garrison Wednesday and Thursday Thurs-day of last week. Mrs. Karl Levi left Friday for Delta to visit with her daughter, Mrs. Miles "White, and family. Members of the J' hitiuiLa club spent Sunday at the Wild Bill mine. They enjoyed games and a picnic lunch. Mrs. C. T. Martin Tuesday morning morn-ing received a letter stating that Mrs. Dan (Grandma) Ferguson is very ill at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nell Erickson. Miss Helen Kinney, who has been chosen vice president of the B. A. C. . student body for next year, spent the week end at Milford. I Mrs. Itha Kinney, her daughter ; Allele, Howard Tanner and Bud Hut-J chins, attended the Junior- promenade promen-ade at Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Olroid of Fair-view Fair-view spent Thursday and Friday in Milford. They were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Pool. I Merrill Miller was down from Blackrock the first of the week. Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Pool drove to Salt Lake Saturday returning Sunday. Sun-day. Marshall Levi of Ogden and daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Lois Canham of Salt Lake, and tie latter's small daughter, visited vis-ited in Milford the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Crawford of Caliente spent the week-'nd here, visiting at the home of the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Crawford. Craw-ford. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Muir were surprised at their new home on the Milford flat last Sunday evening by Mr. and Mrs. MoFadden, Mr. and Mrs. Walt Vincent and their son Arthur, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Hut-chins, Hut-chins, Mr. and Mrs. Walt Muir, and their son Walter and Mrs. W. Hansen Han-sen of Salt Lake. The music festival given Friday evening in the high school, under the direction of Lorus Hand and participated partici-pated in by representative school and community talent, was thoroughly enjoyed by the large number in attendance. at-tendance.
