Show LEADERS CHOSEN BY LOCAL LIONS CLUB; PLAN WATER SPORTS Annual election of officers was held at the luncheon meeting of the Milford Lions Club yesterday noon. Elected Milton Pool President O. H Hubbell vice president Clifford Cook .... second vice president O. C. Koch lion tamer Dr. Charles R. Parrish .... tail twister Harold Cline ......... secretary-treasurer Executive committe: Bert Wynaught, retiring president, George Jefferson and J. R. Murdock. Following adjournment a special meeting of the swimming pool committee com-mittee was called and it was decided that a swimming carnival would be held at the pool on August 5. Cash prizes will be awarded winners win-ners of the various events which include in-clude swimming races, diving exhibitions, exhibi-tions, tub races, greased spar race, tandem race for twenty five yards, barrel race, 100 yard four man relay and a number of other races and contests. con-tests.
