Show i MAN BADLY INJURED BY RUNAWAYS 'Herbert Hall of Minersville is in a critical condition at the Milford hospital hospi-tal following an accident Monday while working on his farm. Mr. Hall was working with a team and his small son was in the wagon when the team became frightened and started to run away. Hall ran after the horses and got in front of them, intending to stop them. They knocked knock-ed him down and trampled on him. Neighboring farmers rusehd to the scene. Hall's jaw was broken and so badly crushed that it was necessary to keep him on the operating table three hours. The little boy was slightly bruised. o The Ladies Republican club are having a series of educational talks at their regular meetings. Last Thursday Thurs-day George Jefferson gave a talk on the amendments. This Thursday night Harold Cline will give a non-political non-political discourse on the duties of the various county officers, and will stress those duties of which the average person is not usually aware. R. H. Nelson, manager of the Valley Val-ley Creamery, left Tuesday on a business busi-ness trip to Los Angeles. He is expected ex-pected back Friday. |
