Show County News j I ADAMSVILLE 4 The one act play given here on the - evening of the 23 by the young girls and boys of Adamsville was very good, and well attended. After the play and program was over everyone was given a bag of candy. The remainder re-mainder of the evening was taken up by dancing. Lenzy Hoopes and Mrs. Ann Williams furnsihed the music. David Pearce left for California last week where he will spend the Christmas holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Stewart and Mrs. Stewarts mother of Beaver were visitors visit-ors in town Friday. Most of the young folks here attended at-tended the dance at Beaver Christmas night. Waldo Yardley and family of Beaver Beav-er called on friends and relatives here on there way to Milford Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Larsen and children, also Henry Larsen wife and little son motored to Beaver Monday. A large baby boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Baldwin Tuesday morning, December 30. All concerned concern-ed doing nicely. f MINERSVILLE Mrs. Josiah Osborne is spending a few days at Milford with friends. Miss Elva Hall is visiting her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Hall at St. George. Miss Hannah Pryor has as her guest Miss Iris Blackner of Beaver. Miss Theodore Gillins is here with her brother, J. H. Gillins. Miss Francis Wood has returned home after spending the past eight months at Peterson. Goldie Hollingshead of Las Vegas, Nev. is here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. William Wood and baby of Peterson spent Christmas here at the Abram Wood home. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hodges of Milford were in town Sunday. Mrs. Edna Mecham of Repalco is her son LaMar here Sunday. Miss Delia Johnson of Adamsville is here as the guest of Olive Roberts. Mrs. Ernest Johnson and baby of Stockton are here as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Marshall. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wood and baby of Cedar City spent Christmas here at the home of John Hollingshead. Mrs. Edna Mecham of repalco is here with relatives. The Misses Marjorie Rasmussen and Barda Scogard of Parowan were the week end guests of Miss Dorothy Banks. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Thompson and Mrs. William Mathews of Beaver visited vis-ited here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Beaumont of Beaver have been guests at the Oscar Potter home. Mrs. Hyrum Iverion and twp children child-ren of Kanosh are here with Mr. Iver-son. Iver-son. Mrs. Gertrude Benson of Parowan is here with her mother, Mrs. Eva Wood. Miss Myda Robinson of Paragonah is here with friends. Tuesday afternoon the Daughters of the Pioneers held a social in the ward chapel. The M. I. A. gave an old fashioned ball here Monday evening. Arthur Hardy is spending a few days at SSalt Lake City on business. Mrs. Sidney Carter, Mrs. James Dotson and Joseph Eyre attended the funeral of Solomon Walker at Murry Wednesday of last week, Mr. Walker Walk-er was a former resident of Miners-ville Miners-ville Word has been received telling of the death of Ernest Fox at Tooele, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ro-bert Fox former resident of Frisco. Miss Olive Hardy is visiting at Pro-vo Pro-vo as the guest of Miss Jessie Ward. |
