Show MILFORD IS FOCUS OF LEGION PEOPLE THIS WEEK-END Signal Honors Come to Milford ... . in Being Selected as Convening Point EIGHTEEN COUNTIES OTicers of the American Legion, and American Legion Auxiliary were surprised to receive word this week from headquarters of the Department of Utah that Milford would be the mecca this week-end for Legion men and women from eighteen Utah counties. coun-ties. The visit here will be a meeting for conferences and discussions of individual posts' problems. Officers of every organization within the 18 counties will attend, as well as delegations dele-gations of members who are not post officers. The attendance is expected to be swelled Sunday by the arrival of groups from nearby towns. Parowan Paro-wan is expected to have about 25 .here; Beaver and Cedar City will be represented by delegations. Two sessions Sunday will be given over to conferences and schools for post officers. The first meeting will be at 10 in the morning and the sec-and sec-and at 2 in the afternoon. The conferences con-ferences will be held at the high school, and the Legion and Auxiliary will' each hold their meetings there. The morning session will consist entirely en-tirely of a school for post officers. The following program has been arranged ar-ranged by department heads for the afternoon: Post Financing Wayne -T. Wilcox, Department Treasurer. Cnild Welfare Problems. Legal Problems of the Veteran ?rank D. Anderson., Regional Attorney Attor-ney of the U. S. Veterans' Bureau. Junior Baseball Ray Schilling, Department Chairman, Americaniza-;ion Americaniza-;ion Committee. The Successful Prosecution of a Disability Claim E. A. Littlefield, ."aison Officer, United States Veter-ins' Veter-ins' Bureau. Between sessions, at the noon hour, i banquet will be served at the Un- on Pacific Dining Room. It is exacted ex-acted that from a hundred to a hundred hund-red and twenty-five will attend.
