Show FIRE DESTROYS GRAIN- THRESHER AT KANOSH Over ninety loads cf hay, eight or nine hundred bushels of grain in the stack and a threshing machine went I up in flames at Kanosh Wednesday. I The grain, hay, yards and hay der-! rick, all completely destroyed, were j the property of Harvey Watts while j the threshing machine belonged to! Mr. Taylor of Delta. The thresher had just been set and started to run when Mr. Taylor, standing on the separator, saw a patch of fire the size of a tub on the i side of a barley stack. He jumped i from the machine and with the aid of nearly a dozen men tried to con- j trol the fire with sacks and what j water they had, but their efforts were' of no avail and the fire swept , through the yard destroying every- thing except the engine to the thresh- j er which was driven out.
