Show BEAVER BRIEFS Mrs. Bill Melling returned to her home at Cedar City Sunday, after spending three weeks here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Smith. Mr. and Mrs. John P. Murdock are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby boy, born Friday, May 17th. Otto Schwob, Charles Whornham and Arthur Smith were in Milford, Friday. Mrs. Ralph Williams, a recent bride, arrived from Salt Lake City Thursday, and will spend the summer sum-mer at Beaver. Mr. Williams will come as soon as school is out. Mrs. R. Burke spent last week in Milford, the guest of Mrs. Hattie Root. Mrs. Anna Vincent returned home Wednesday of last week from Park City, where she has been with her daughter, Mrs. Willard Thompson, since the Christmas holidays. Mrs. Nancy Burt spent Sunday and Monday at Paragoonah, visiting relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. George Whornham left Wednesday for Rexburg, Idaho, where they will visit relatives until time for the U. A. C. summer school to open at Logan. Mr. Whornham will go to school this summer and the following winter. Aldon Woodhouse and sister, Clara, of Cedar City, spent Sunday here visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Blain Morris spent Friday at Milford, with his mother Mrs. Wm. Morris. Miss Loretta Thornton spent the week-end from the Telluride station with her parents. Mrs. L. M. Burt is at Parowan, called home on account of the severe illness of her father, Mr. Ward. Mrs. Hattie Ashworth is visiting at the home of her son and daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Wm. Ashworth of Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Heslington spent Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. Hutchings. They returned return-ed to their home at Kanosh Monday. Bundle Shower Mrs. Arch Fotheringham was given i a bundle shower Wednesday night by j friends at the home of Mrs. Milo Baker. The evening was spent with j games. At midnight a dainty hmch- eon was served to thirty guests. Mrs. Fotheringham received many beautiful beauti-ful gifts. |
