Show PIANO STUDENTS ARE PRESENTED IN RECITAL Miss Gwendolyn Smith closed her year's work in music at Milford by presenting a group of special students stu-dents in recital last Thursday evening. even-ing. i ! 5 The recital was given at the Odd Fellows' hall, and consisted of piano selections by eight students. They were assisted by Max Parrish and Joe Jinney, Jr., vocalists, accompanied accompani-ed by Mrs. Betty Martin. The following students gave piano selections: Darlene Cline, Dan Mc-Garry, Mc-Garry, Jeanne Chanslor, Sarah Cuddy, Cud-dy, Barbara Parrish, John E. Gay, Ranae Fernley and Estelle Nebeker. Miss Nebeker was introduced as the student who won third place in the annual School Day piano contest at Logan, sponsored by the Utah Agricultural college, playing against twenty contestants. The work of the pupils showed careful and diligent study. The recital re-cital was well attended by a thoroughly thor-oughly appreciative audience. |
