Show "Soul" Signifies G'od Alone, Say Religionsts Here "Soul and Body" was the subject of the Lesson-Sermon which was read in the Christian Science Church of Milford on Sunday, November 20. Among the citations included from the Bible is the following: "The word of the Lord came unto me again saying, say-ing, . . . the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die." (Ezekiel 18:1, 4.) A correlative passage from the Christian Science textbook "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Scrip-tures," reads: "Question What are spirits and souls? . . . The term souls or spirits is as improper as the term gods. Soul or Spirit signifies Diety 'and nothing else. There is no finite soul nor spirit. Soul or Spirit means only one Mind and cannot can-not he rendered in the plural." (P. 466.) |
