The return of better conditions is reported from many quarters, and things seem to be once more on the up grade. This progress will be interfered with and full recovery will be greatly delayed If our transportation systems are halted or embarrassed by a general strike. It would be felt In every community, and here in Delta wo would receive a business setback that we do not care to pass through. On the other hand union officials off-icials declare they fear an "outlaw" strike more than anything else, or a strike over which they will have no control and which they may be powerless pow-erless to prevent.
