Show DESERET NEWS. ;- Friday, March 2S, Mrs. Victoria Black, wife of William V. Black and one of the oldest residents in this section, passed away at her home in Deseret. Mrs. Black was S4 year3 of age, was active until a few days before her death. She is survived by a large family of children, grandchildren grand-children and great-grand-clilldren. Funeral services were held Sunday March 30th. Many beautiful floral offerings and the large number of friends present bespoke the rspect and esteem in which she was held. Many visitors were present from other parts of the state. Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Ryan were visitors vis-itors last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Damron. Mrs. Alice Western is in Salt Lake spending some time with her children. chil-dren. Mrs. Alice Moody and son Don, and Miss Vonda Black made a trip to Sallna recently, to visit relative. Misses. Manetta Black and Mariam Damron are spending the spring vacation va-cation at home. Mrs. T. J. Harrington and Miss Helen Carson have spent the last few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Moody. They are enroute to their home in Nevada, after an extended visit in Salt Lake. Evelyn Western, young daughlei of Marion Western was lately operated oper-ated on for appendicitis at the L. D. S. hospital and is reported convalescing convales-cing nicelv. |
