Vassar College, the pioneer of women's colleges in America, believing believ-ing in paying adequate compensation to its teaching force, is conducting a campaign to raise an endowment fund of $3,000,000. President Harding, on the opening day of the campaign, sent a message mes-sage to the Campaign Committee, wishing them success and expressing his conviction that it was an essential for better Americanism and of particular par-ticular importance at this time that all teaching forces receive a salary commensurate with their services. |
