S. gave a rousing rally, the main feature being the funeral services for the Academy. One of the girls represented the unfortunate wife with: little Dean Wood as the weping son. The . Rev. Harold. Ashman conducted con-ducted the : exercises. Mary Carlson led the choir in laboring labor-ing through their .weird dirges and Fern Melvile sang a touching touch-ing solo. .-''''' Six crepe draped studentsact-ed studentsact-ed as pall bearers which Dean called "Ball Hearings." The casket was covered with floral offerings from the wood work shop, in the form of the longest long-est and curliest shavings that could be found The remains were cremated and shipped to Hinckley, when; services were held the following follow-ing Friday. A real rally was held before the funeral services in preparation prepar-ation of the battle to be fought between the M. A. and theM. II. S. to the tune of basketball. Talks were given by old basket-bal basket-bal stars, 'such as Edwin Workman, Work-man, Heber Bishop, Ianthus Wright, Wilford Pratt, and Wilford Hilton. The climax was reached when the 1 M.A. was brought in in the cas-' cas-' ket. Rev. Eldred Knight gave the "Resurrection Ceremony." When M. A. jumped out, M. H. S. fainted and was laid to rest never to come to again and was then taken out and burned. ENTERTAINMENT The Woodrow School will 1 ijive an entertainment on Frl- day, February 24th, at Wood-row. Wood-row. There will be a program after which there will be a dance. Admission to the pro- gran 25c; admission to the : dance 2Gc. r The .money will be used for i -the benefit of the Boy Scouts.
