Show been since 1919, the reservoirs are a little more favored. The Otter Creek gage read 2 .5 feet on February 10th, or 31,000 acre feet of storage. This is practically prac-tically the same stage as it was on the same date last year, when it reached the 3 ft. contour, about May 20th. I look for a later date of filling this season, if it fills completely. com-pletely. The Piute Reservoir gage read 51.0 ft. on February 2nd, or 31,000 acre feet of storage. My prediction at this time on this reservoir is that it will reach the G7 ft. contour, or CO, 000 acre feet, by April 1st. The Sevier Bridge Reservoir gage on Fobruary 8th, read 08.5 ft. or 150,000 acre feet. Under present conditions of inflow, this reservoir should reach the 75 ft. level by May 1st, or 203,000 acre feet. From present indications, the coming com-ing season will give an opportunity to fully roalize the benefit of reservoirs reser-voirs on a river and the necessity of proper co-ordination between primary pri-mary and storage rights as well as between the various reservoir In-ter-ests. Very truly, BRICE McBRIDE, Water Commissioner. Sevier River. From the Weather Bureau Report Re-port on the January snowfall on the Sevier River water shed, it appears that we are facing a short water year, unless a great deal of late snow falls. Both the snowfall a::d the water equivalent are lower than any year since 1919. Comparing it with last year, only two-thirds as much snow fell during the month as during January 1923, and only one-half as much remained on the ground February Feb-ruary 1, 1924, a3 February 1, 1923 The moisture content of this snow layer being about 30 of iast year's. The most important factor to notice not-ice is the extreme low moisture content of the snow. The snow l:.y-it l:.y-it t!'::ts rhat ( ' r r. . i . ;: i' y c-:'-' 1- y.
