Show I MICHIGAN FARM BUREAU OFFICIALS EXPRESS THEMSELVES PLEASED WITH MILLARD DROP IN SUDDENLY, BUY AND GO Purchase 3,000 bu in one lot As we leave for other sections we wish to express our appreciation for the courtesies extended to us by Millard Mil-lard County farmers while we were securing alfalfa seed for the Michigan Michi-gan Farm Bureau. Our organization is purely a service ser-vice institution for Michigan farmers, farm-ers, and seed purchased in Millard County is distributed directly to MI ehigan farmers as "Utah Grown Alfalfa Alf-alfa Seed." During the week we got enough to cover our standing orders, but will probably need a limited amount in addition as the season advances. Mr. N. L. Peterson of Deseret and Mr. Wm. N. Gardner of Delta, will act as our local representatives, and will be able to inform you of further needs of the Michigan Farm Bureau They are duly authorized to purchase such additional quantities of high quality seed as may be required. Representatives of the Michigan Farm Bureau were pleased with the number of seed lots available, free from dodder, sweet clover, and other objectionable weeds. The work done by Millard County farmers in pull, ing and cutting weeds and putting their fields in better shape to grow clean alfalfa seed enabled us to pay a better price and get more seed than we had expected to get from this district. Michigan farmers who bu this seed will greatly appreciate this service. MICHIGAN STATE FARM BUREAU J. W. NICOLSON. Mgr. Seed Department. |
