Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS. o State Engineer's Office, Salt Lake City, Utah, July 12th, 1924. Notice is hereby given that the 1 Utah-Nevada Land and Livestock Company, whose principal place of . business is Baker, Nevada, has made application in accordance with the requirements of the Compiled Laws " of Utah, 1917, as amended by the Session Laws of Utah, 1919, to appropriate ap-propriate Six (6) c. f. s. of water and Three-thousand (3,000) acre feet of water from Garrison Big Wash, in Millard County, Utah. The Six (6) c. f. s. of water will be diverted di-verted at a point N. 26 deg. 56 min. W. 483.1 ft. from NW.cor. of Sec. 20, T. 22 S., R. 19 W., S. L. B. & M, and conveyed 41,600 ft. in a canal , and there used from May 15th to September 1st, inclusive, of each year, to irrigate 1360 acres of land embraced in WNW Sec. 13; Sec. 14; S Sec. .15; NV4 N Sec '22, all in T. 13 S., R. 70 E. Mount Diablo Di-ablo Base & Meridian. The Three-thousand Three-thousand (3,000) acre feet of water will be stored in a reservoir from Sept. 1st of each year to May 15th, inclusive of the year following, em-raced em-raced in ENEU, NE V4 SE V Sec. i 19, WMW NW. SWV4SW Sec. 20, NE Vi NE Sec. 30, E&-NW, E&-NW, NWViNWM. NE SWU-NW'i, SWU-NW'i, N NEV4SW, NWSEVi, WSESE?4, Sec. 29; WE-IEV4, WE-IEV4, EWNW, WESE, EWSE, Sec. 32, T. 22 S R. 19 W., S. L. B. M. The center of the impounding dam will be located at the point of diversion last above described, des-cribed, at which point the water will be released, conveyed and used whenever needed, in connection with the (6) e. f. s. of water for irrigation of the land above mentioned. This application is designated in the State Engineer's Office as File No. 9509. All protests against the granting of said application, stating the reasons rea-sons therefor, must be by affidavit in duplicate, accompanied with a fee of $1.00, and filed in this office within (SO) days after the completion comple-tion of the publication of this notice. Copies of said list, so far as they relate to said tract3 by de seriptive subdivisions, have been conspicuously posted in this office for inspection by any person interested inter-ested and by the public generally. During the period of publication of this notice, or any time thereafter and before final approval and certification, cer-tification, under departmental regulations reg-ulations of April 25, 1907, protests or contests agajnst the claim of the State to any of the tr-acts or subdivisions subdi-visions hereinbefore described on the ground that the same is more valuable for mineral than for' agricultural ag-ricultural purposes, will be received and noted for report to the General Land Office at Washington, D. C. Failure so to protest or contest, within the time specified, will be considered sufficient evidence of non-mineral character of the tracts and the selection thereof, being oth-wise oth-wise free from objection, will be approved to the State.
