Show A LARGER DELTA CHRONICLE The good people of Delta and surrounding territory ter-ritory will please take notice of the increase in size of the Chronicle, and we wish to call your attention in detail to some of the outstanding articles that comprise the new reading now available in your paper. An installment of "Neighbors," an interesting continued story of Western Canadian life, will appear each week. The author, Robert Stead, was a ranchman ranch-man in his early years, and his story breathes the real spirit of up-and-coming North America. Plenty of love interest in "Neighbors," too, and enough humor to make the story easy to read, and believe us, well worth reading. Departments will be carried for the American Legion, Dairy farmers, the ranchers, and an illustrated feature, one week of Cartoons and Comics, the succeeding suc-ceeding week of world interest pictures. Albert Payson Terhune, the nation-wide famous magazine writer, will contribute a series of articles on "Dogs"; not the pedal extremities, but old Rover, Fido, or some other named dog, for every human some time or other has been whole-heartedly interested in the welfare of some dog maybe not a whale for looks or intelligence, but still a mighty close-to-the-heart pal. Well, Mr. Terhune knows dogs and has written a splendid set of stories about them. Do not miss a single one; they are good. A busy man's glimpse of the news of the last few days before publication will appear, and all the time the Chronicle will be planning for more and better reading for your paper. The local field will be energetically ener-getically cared for, and right now and for every issue, please give us all the news items you possibly can. Remember, we want The Delta Chronicle to be a real Community Builder. |
