The purpose of this organiz. tion is to prosecute the makers of bad checks. There is the person who forges another's name; this is a crime by law, and the law will be strictly enforced; then there is the elied: issued, against no money in the hank, returend " No Account." That kind of a check is against the law, and the makers will be prosecuted pros-ecuted by this association. Lastly there is the man who knows when ho gave the check that he has not enough money, in the bank to meet it, but gives it knowing that if the "merchant takes it, he can have the time on the debt that it will take the merchant to get hot enough to make him dig. It saves going to the bank and putting up security for a loan. And it saves interest. And lastly, and why it was given, a dozen f'.'ch checks out equals a good sized siz-ed loaii at the bank. To bust that practice thirs association associa-tion will make a. number of tests and bring prosecution with all publicity. pub-licity.
