Sunday Dec. 11th Ward Relief Society So-ciety conference was held here with Mrs. Clark of Flllmor j in attendance representing the Stake Board. Dr Clark was here also and the instrue tions given were listened t3 with interest in-terest by all. - Presiding Elder F. O. Friday evenlng Dec. 16th a danec was given in the school house at which the Holden Orchestra furnished furn-ished the music and the dancers en; joyed themselves very much. A. C. Strlngham Is having a two-room two-room house built on his farm south east of town. Mr. and Mrs. Owen M. Harmon are back on their homestead after being away for some months. We like to see the people come back. Thursday evening an entertainment will be given with a couple of play-letB play-letB as the main attraction with the Vaudeville Sketches between. A program ivUl'be given Xmas eve with a tree and presents for all the children. Also on Monday the 26th, a children's dance will be held In the afternoon and a character ball at night. Miss Mamie Eck expects to spend the holidays at her home in Sandy. ' v Mrs. Agnes L. J. R. Ellis made Delta a visit this week; his position has been advanced ro Assistant State Road Engineer. W. H. Thorne, who formerly owned the farm that Milan A.' Hutchings bought, died In Salt Lake City, following fol-lowing a very brief Illness. The news comes as a surprise to his friends here. A ten-pound bouncing baby boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. C. A.
