Show PRETTY HOME WEDDING On Thursday, Dec. 15th, a beautiful beauti-ful wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred S. Ashby of Su-garvillo, Su-garvillo, when their daughter,- Miss Ferol, and Mr. William Sohiffer, also of Sugarville, were united in marriage marri-age by Rev. C. H. Hamilton. Some twenty-five guests gathered at 8 p. m. At 8:30 the familiar strains of the Lohengrin Wedding March) played by Martin Schlffer, announced the beginning of the ceremony, cere-mony, which proceeded with pleasing simplicity and dignity . The large sitting-room in which the ceremony took place was most pleas-lngly pleas-lngly decorated with flowers and greenery sent by California friends of the family. Strings of red hearts were looped about the draperies of the room and a white wedding bell hung In the center of the room. The bride was most becomingly attired at-tired In a lovely gown of her own handiwork and she crrled a bouquet of roses and fern. Following the congratultlons the wedding party and guests were grouped and a flashlight photograph was taken by Mr. Ernest McCoy. The wedding cake of generous proportions pro-portions was decorated In caterers ityle And admired by all. The wedding supper, Berved by Mrs. F. S. Ashby, Mrs. Lynn Ashby and Mrs. Rufus Clark, sister of the groom, was bountiful and delicious. Congratulations are due to Mr. and Mrs. Ashby tor this delightful home wedding. |
