Something new and odd In the way of wate trouRhs has been designed by a California man. Its novelty lies In the fact thxt it Is self cleanlnlg. A heavy meul buse supports a pipe, which Is Journaled on the aupport so that It can revolve thereon. In that section of the pipe that Is normally Novel Water Trough. underneath are a series of perforations. perfora-tions. Itigldly attached to the pipe and awinglng from it like a cradle Is the trough. A hose leads from the pipe to a hydrant, and when the water is turned on from the hydrant tho trough Is quickly filled. If the trough la to be cleaned It can be Inverted, and as the boles in the pipe follow it around, a stream of water is squirted up t'P against It and flushes it. This r-ri r-ri ptatiu can alno be used as a feed trough and the hose attachment used only to clean It.
