Show HOLDEX HAPPEX1XGS At last fall has broken into downy winter, as the ground is covered with snow and the jingle of sleigh bells can be heard. Mr. Ben Crosland, sr., is very ill. His daughter. Mrs. Jack Coursey, of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Tom Dunton, of Wyoming, and Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Honey, of Montana, have attended him during his illness. His son, Willard, of Monroe, spent a few days with him. ISvan Johnson has just returned from a business trip to Gunnison. Pres. Thompson walked into town yesterday, having ran his car off in the wash at the second crossing between be-tween here and Scipio. The other members of the party went back to Scipio. Mr. Hanseen Nvas badly cut and bruised, but the rest were uninjured. Miss Lulu Johnson has returned froqi an extended visit with friends and relatives in Sevier county. Her absence accounts for the Hold-en Hold-en hews not appearing in the paper. But. she will try to keep the readers posted on our doings from now on. The Holden Dramatic troupe played play-ed "Tempest and Sunshine" to a large audience, Saturday night. |
