Show Death of Mrs. Sampson Mrs. Rose Ann Sampson, wife of James Polk Sampson, who j passed. away in December, 1914, j died at her home in Delta, Thursday, Thurs-day, .March 30th, after a long-period long-period of failing health, and was buried in the Delta cemetery the following Sunday. Mrs, Sampson'3 maiden name was Turner and she was bom in Glenneni, New York, in the year 1842, She came to Utah in the year 1861 and has lived in the Delta country the past six years, coming here from Lyman. Mrs. Sampson is survived by eleven children. They are Mrs. N. T. Max field and Joseph Sampson, of Lyman, Alonzo Sampson, of Fremont, Mrs. K. E. Peterson, L irenzo, Benjamin, Charles, George, Clyde ami Bertha Sampson Samp-son of Delta, and Mrs. Myrtle Manery, of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Sampson joined the Mormon Mor-mon church in early life, continuing con-tinuing a faithful and devout member to the last. All her children were present at the funeral except one son, Joseph, who was here before her death but was compelled to je- turn home on account of sick- I ness in his family. |
