Saturday the Meadow Junior basket ball team came up to play the local Junior team. The Meadow team beat the Oak City team one point at the last track meet for the county chain-pitching. chain-pitching. The homo team was handl-was handl-was one of the best ever played on the local floor. The Meadow boys were too much for the home team. They simply outplayed them. Their team work was better as was their basket pitching. The home team was handci-capped handci-capped on account of the lack of practice, prac-tice, but they put up a good game , and made the Meadow boys work for , the game.
