Watson, Democratic incumbent in-cumbent The election of Judge Goff broke a long deadlock and was made only after two appeals of Governor-elect Governor-elect Hatfield for harmony during a Republican caucus ana tbe fact that thbi was tbe last day of tbe prevent legislative session. Judge Goff announced he would resign re-sign from the federal bench Immediately. Imme-diately. His term Is for six years, beginning be-ginning March 4 next. Judge Goff was born February 9, 1842, at Clarksburg, W. Va., at that time a part of Virginia. |
