Show THE HINCKLEY HAPPENINGS Jesse Stott of Meadow was a business visitor to our town last week. Milton Moody returned home Sunday from a business trip to Salt Lake City. The people of this place have been highly entertained the past week by four good dramas. Arthur Reeve has been appointed ap-pointed Post master at this place and has already entered upon his duties in that capacity. Roland Curtis is home again after spending the winter in Provo where he took advantage of the B. Y. U. midwinter term. The family of Edwin Workman has been increased by the arrival of a baby. Mother and child are reported as progressing rapidly. That the population of our town is steadily increasing was shown last Sunday when four infants in-fants were blessed in Sacrament meeting. Jacob H. Langton and daughter, daugh-ter, Tressa are spending a few days in Lynndyl this week as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Meecham. The Hinckley Dramatic Company Com-pany played to a very large audience aud-ience Saturday evening. The play was a military drama, "The Little Savage. " Quite a number of Hinckley people attended the wedding .reception .re-ception given in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Maxfield in Deseret last Thursday evening. Miss Reva Hunt is again at the home of her Grandfather, Willis E. Robison, after spending several sev-eral months in Richfield with her uncle, Berry Robison. Mrs. Neils Christenson is now in Salt Lake City where she was recently operated on for appendicitis. appen-dicitis. All the townspeople are interested in her and hope for her immediate recovery. The many friends of Mrs. Thomas A. Ellison and of Clark Bishop will be pleased to learn that both have so far recovered from recent operations in Salt Lake City hospitals, as to be able to return to their homes where they are rapidly regaining their strength. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Tripp and their children, Vera and Harold, arrived Monday from Calio, Utah for an extended visit with Mrs. Tripp's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wilkins. Mr. Tripp left Tuesday for Salt Lake City he will spend a few days attending attend-ing to business affairs. Monday evening the Walters Company presented "The Country Coun-try Girl." It was well played and well liked by all. The parts of the Country Girl and her aged father were exceptionally render-by render-by Miss Bunzell and Mr. Cos-grave. Cos-grave. On Tuesday evening the same troupe played the temperance temper-ance drama "Ten Nights in a Bar Room" with good success. Everyone here is enjoying the delightful spring weather, all are glad that the mud is fast disappearing, dis-appearing, and the farmers are taking advantage of the pleasant days to begin their farm work for another season. Many of the citizens are doing spring cleaning about their premises which makes the homes more comfortable comfort-able and gives the town a more tidy appearance. -It's in Delta, what?
