Show LEAMINGTON LOCALS Mr. Lafayette Holbrook and Chief Engineer Jarvls were down looking over tbe land project Saturday and Sunday. Mr. Maxfleld, Mr. Moody and Mr. Cotterel of the Delta Irrigation Company Com-pany were In towa Saturday. Tbe Sunday School gave a May party on Friday afternoon, meeting at the war chapel at 2 o'clock. They had a short program, after which they rode to Mr. Aagard's orchard and spent a very pleasant afternoon. In tbe evening even-ing a basket dance was Indulged In, everyone having a very enjoyable time, and over $50 was taken In for the benefit of the Sunday School. Doc Baymiller of Delta was visiting In our towa a few days last week: Most of his time seemed to be so well taken up that we think be U apt to make us many more visits. Miiis Delora Reld, Mrs. Bsrta Davis, Spencer .Nielson and his brother-Shelby, brother-Shelby, were ' at Delta on Millard County Day, all having a good time. Mr. J. H. Baker of the Baker Lumber Lum-ber company, was In towa Friday. Paey A Olson, contractors from Provo, have been at work for several days putting concrete bridges over tbe new canal. We are wondering who Engineer Kimball will have with him on hla next visit of insertion. |
