Show BIG CROPS AT KANOSH. Millard County Is becoming famous as a lucern seed producing belt. Teams are Just getting home from ISlack Rock, where they have been delivering de-livering seed the past week. V. II Kennlmore has been handling the seed raised around here this year, which will amount to $18,000 or 120,000. Among the fortunate- farmers of our county Is the name of Alrnon Rohlson who has just finished threshing 1.170 bushels of choice seed, which Is the largest amount raised on,' any one farm In the county. The writer was at Mr. Rohlson's farm this week and while there he noticed a new frame building was being be-ing erected by several men at a rapid rate In order to have It In readiness for a steam apparatus which he expects ex-pects to Install for the purpose of Hearting his seed before putting It on the market, and by this means he will demand the best prices going. Other seasons at this time of the year one would see several hundred head of cattle on Mr. Itohlson'B ranch, but such Is not the case this fall. The shortagejn his hay crop made It necessary neces-sary for him lo do something with j them, so they have been moved out Into Garfield County, where the feed Is good. Everything else around the ranch seems to be about as usual. |
