Show DIXIE REUNION. The editor greatly regrets that absence ab-sence to the east side of the county prevented his attendance at the Dixie reunion at Hinckley last Saturday. Any affair that Virgil Kelly has a hand In Is sure to be a success and this was no exception. People were there from all the towns on the west side. Bishop Pratt gave the address of welcome which was responded to by Bishop Maxfleld. Virgil Kelly was master uf ceremonies, and among other M iints, gave a Dixie song. So did J. II. Langston and Frank Slaughter, the latter being an original which was pilte funny. Among those present were eight people who moved to Dixie in 1X61. L. R. Cropper went there irst In 18.18. Most of the others went lown In the Immigration of 188C78, ifterwards coming up to old Deseret md proving their staying qualities. Principal petty, whose home Is still n Dixie, was a speaker, and also C. T. Sunker and Richard Parker, two old Jlxle boys. Fay Jnstensen gave two ecltatlons In her Inimitable manner ind A.
