Show I funeral Services Held rn in fillmore Fillmor for Mrs Maughan FILLMORE FILLMORE- There were many West Millard people to attend the funeral services for Mrs Susie K Maughan which were held in Fillmore Fillmore Fill Fill- more Wednesday December 3 Musical numbers were rendered from the Delta Mixed Chorus directed directed directed dir dir- by Mrs Norma Wright with Louise Adams accompanying at the piano and Norma Hannifin playing violin Ladd Cropper Cropper Cropper Crop Crop- per rendered a vocal solo and Thelma Thelma Thelma Thel- Thel ma was among the speakers Bishop Von Taylor of Fillmore First Ward conducted the services which were as follows The procession entered to violin accompaniment played by Dean Brown of Fillmore The Delta Mixed Mixed Mixed Mix Mix- ed Chorus sang the opening song Though Deepening Trial President President President dent Ward Moody offered the opening opening opening op op- op- op ening prayer which was followed by the song Oh My Father sung by the Millard Stake Singing Mothers Mothers Mothers Mo Mo- who were directed by Mrs Robinson Dale Nielson then sang sanga a vocal solo Going Home lie He was accompanied by his wife President Milton Beckstrand of Millard Stake was the first speaker He praised the closeness of Mr and Mrs Maughan in their family life as did the other speakers and stated stated stated stat stat- ed They loved to be together to plan together and to council to together together together to- to gether He stressed that Sister Maughan had been throughout her life a symbol of purity and cleanliness cleanliness cleanliness clean clean- liness and was next to Godliness Although her years were short her life was as complete t for she 1 e had d I accomplished much said saia Air mr Beckstrand He lie offered this challenge challenge challenge chal chal- lenge to the bereaved children Sister Maughan established high ideals Her children can do no better better better bet bet- ter than to live Jive as she would have them do The Millard Stake Singing Mothers Mothers Mothers Mo Mo- then sang Peace I Leave With You then Sister Robinson Millard Stake Relief Society an organization of or which S Sister i s t e r Maughan was an officer then spoke stressing all all all' the high qualities which Sister Maughan had had when it came to rendering rendering rendering render render- ing service to the Lord and His work Sister Robinson talked of the love of the beautiful especially especial especial- ly of flowers which Mrs Maughan had had stating how appropriate were the many floral noral offerings which had been sent President W. W L.
