DRAINAGE BONDS CARRY Last was the the day day set apart for the bond election of Millard Millard Millard Mill- Mill ard County Drainage DIst No 2 The polls were open from seven Inthe in inthe inthe the morning until seven at night and It was when the vote was counted that the bonds had carried by 80 per percent percent percent cent there being a total of ot 85 votes There were voters which were entitled to votes who failed to ap ap- ap- ap pear The district comprises about 22 acres around Deseret and Oasis and to the north and east of Oasis In this direction It runs to within about about two miles mUes of Delta This is said to be the largest drainage drainage drainage drain drain- age system of its kind tile Ule ever organized and the bonds call for it being estimated that it will cost about 22 per acre to drain the district and the work of constructing constructing constructing con con- the system will cover a perIod period period per per- iod of from two to three years Here is hoping that all who come within the drainage dl district will lend every possible encouragement and effort possible to make the undertaking undertaking undertaking under under- taking a grand success
