Show Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Johanna Talbot Funeral services for Mrs. Johanna Johan-na Talbot, widow of Thomas B. Talbot, were held in the Oak City ward chapel.with Bishop Marvin Lovell in charge. Mrs. Talbot died in the LDS hospital in Salt Lake City on June 15,1944. The ward choir gave several beautiful numbers. Mrs. Ester Anderson An-derson sang, "That Wonderful Mother of Mine." The speaker were Collier Lovell, Don Anderson, J. Lee Anderson, Mae H. Shipley and Wil-bert Wil-bert Anderson. Zella Lovell read a good biography of Mrs. Talbot's life. Prayers were given by A. M. Roper and George D. Shipley. The burial was at the Oak City cemetery, ceme-tery, with Bishop Lovell dedicating the grave Taylor Mortuary had the funeral arrangements in their charge. Mrs. Talbot was a long and esteemed es-teemed citizen of Oak City and will be missed by her many friends. Funeral Services Held For Jonathan Pratt Funeral services were held in the Hinckley Ward Chapel Sunday at 3 p.m. for Jonathan B. Pratt who died June 15 in Manti. The services included: Opening song by the Ward Choir, "The Spirit of God like a fire is Burning." Prayer William Stapley. Vocal solo "Face to Face" by Ladd Cropper, accompanied by Ruth Talbot. T a 1 k Patriarch Charles R. Woodbury. Talk President Ben H. Robison. Choir "Lord Thou Wilt Hear Me." Talk Rodney B. Ashby of Manti. Man-ti. Vocal solo, "End of a Perfect Day" sung by Mrs. Lee Pratt, accompanied by Ruth Talbot. Remark Bishop Verdell Bishop. Closing prayer L.R. Cropper. Burial was in the Hinckley Cemetery. |
