Show DESERET . . . Phone your news on Tuesday to Arprilla Scow The E & K Club met Thursday at the home of Zada Dewsnup Thurs-jday Thurs-jday afternoon. A very enjoyable time was had by all. A book report was given after which refreshments refresh-ments were served to the following 'Ava Bennett, Myrle Bennett, Stella Black, Mollie Dewsnup, Lois Elia-'son, Elia-'son, Vilate Maxfield, Nora Petty, Arlene Bennett, Zella Moody, Zada Za-da Dewsnup. M-& Martell Mace and daughter from Las Vegas are visiting with Martell's parents, M-S James Mace. Luiclle Sampson and Mrs. Mable Black left this week for a few days visit in Salt Lake Cit. A farewell party was held Thursday Thurs-day evening in honor of Newell Knight, who left Monday for the Armed services. A nice program was given after which the remainder remain-der of the evening spent dancing. A large crowd was in attendance. Mrs. Lois Eliason and son, Eldon, are spending this week in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Myrtle Western spent the weekend at Redmond visiting with her sister and family. M-S L. R. Allred and family spent Monday and Tuesday at Venice, visiting with Mrs. Allred's folks. M-S Charles Dewsnup are in Salt Lake City visiting with Mrs. Dew-snup's Dew-snup's father, Mr. Bunker. Mrs. Max Bishop and children, of Salt Lake City are visiting with M-S Jerold Bennett. |
