Show Businessmen Buy R. J. Law Company Store Will Take Possesion Monday Morning; Store Closed for Alterations v A local group of businessmen, Dudley Crafts, Homer U. Petersen and Clayton M. Stapley bought the R.J. Law Company Store in Delta on Wednesday. The Laws will operate the store until Saturday night, when it will be turned over to the new owners for inventory, painting and some remodeling. The store will remain closed for about three weeks while this work is being done and then will be opened under the new management. manage-ment. Mr. Crafts and Mr. Petersen will not at the present time take an active part in the management of the store, as that.will be left up to Clayton Stapley, ' former manager mana-ger of the Men's Department of D. Stevens & Company. The store will carry a general line of merchandise which will be determined at the time of opening, with possibly new lines added as they become available. The Laws have not decided just what they will do in the future. Pictures of servicemen which were on display were taken out of the windows the first of the week.. They ask that these pictures be called for between now and Saturday Satur-day night so that none may be lost during the inventory and remodeling. |
