Second Ward Team Goes to Payson For M. Men Play The Deltta second ward basketball basket-ball team left Wednesday for Pay-son Pay-son where it will take part in the M. Men basketball tournament being be-ing held there Wednesday, Thursday, Thurs-day, Friday and Saturday. The players going are Ladd Black.Don Killpack, Bruce Little, Grant Crane, Webb Franklin, Frank Adams, Kean Maxfield, Willard Stephenson.Mer-lin Stephenson.Mer-lin Forster, and Irwin Prestwich, with J. Evan Wright, ward M Men director and coach, and Max Johnson, John-son, stake M Men directors, as their managers. The team received new suits on Tuesday which consist of bright silk pants, with white shirts and lettering. Sixteen teams will play in the tourney, with the high teams going go-ing on to the church finals in Salt Lake City. After two losses a team will be eliminated, as was the system sys-tem of the former state basketball tournament.
