Show HINCKLEY . . . Phone your news Tuesday to Sebhna Ekins Mrs. Jane Pratt left Sunday to go to Salt Lake to make her home. Mrs. Pratt recently sold her home here to M-S Ladd Cropper. M-S Charles Stratton went to Tooele Tuesday to visit with their children. Bishop and Mrs. Verdell Bishop moved into thhe Mary Bishop home this week. M-S John Barton will move into the Carl Theobald home where the Bishops have been living liv-ing and M-S Ross Hilton will move into the Blake home where the Bartons have been living. Edna Wright, daughter of M-S Elmer Wright has gone to Salt Lake to attend a business college this winter. Mrs. Mary Lyman Reeve of Pro-vo Pro-vo spent Sunday here. Mrs. Margaret Jensen and Mrs. Buelah Bassett returned home from Salt Lake Sunday after a two weeks stay. M-S Meron Petersen and daughters daugh-ters spent several days in Salt Lake this week. M-S Allen Kellar came back had been receiving medical treatment. treat-ment. Mrs. Louise Sly from Beaver is visiting here with her parents M-S Bryon Carter. M-S Lee Wilson of Spanish Fork visited over the week end with Mrs. Wilsons parents M-S Juel Moody. A Moody family reunion was held at the Juel Moody home Sunday Sun-day afternoon. M-S Marvin Moody and family M-S Lee Wilson and family, Mrs. Bryant Moody and family, Mrs. Lucille Stephenson and family, Mrs. Ann Clawson, Mrs. Helen Hinckley, M-S Richmond Cropper were guests. Lunch was enjoyed by the group and the afternoon was spent visiting and viewing a home movie. Seaman lc Rex Carter who is home on leave has been honored at several parlies. Mrs. Golda Talbot Tal-bot entertained for him at her home Friday evening, Mrs. Carol Bishop at her home Saturday evening even-ing and Mrs. Oletta Larsen at her home Sunday evening. Members of the Carter, Talbot and Larsen families fa-milies were guests. M-S Roy Hilton returned home Thursday after spending several days in Salt Lake. Marion Pratt of Fairview came over Sunday to visit with his father Wm. B. Pratt who was hurt three weeks ago. Mr. Pratt is improving improv-ing now. M-S Lynn Talbot have gone to Salt Lake for several weeks. Mrs. Cleo Bishop sister is here visiting with her. Helen Webb came home Wednesday Wed-nesday after a weeks trip to Salt Lake. ' Marylene Reeve of Logan and Lt. Evan Dastrup came over from Richfield last week and spent a few hours here. Mrs. Mattie Knight returned home from Texas this week. Mrs. Knight has spent the summer with her son Milton. Cpl. Eugene. Morris is home on a 10 day furlough from Nebraska. Ruth and Merodean Peterson came back Thursday after visiting in Salt Lake and Provo. Seaman Ray Stiffins left last Thursday afternoon to go to San Francisco after a 15 day leave. M.PPP. Charles Knight left Sunday Sun-day after a short furlough here. His mother Mrs. Rose Knight returned with him as far as Tooele. M-S Wilford Pratt of Nephi and M-S Glenn Pratt of Provo spent Monday here. M-S Elmer Wright, spent several seve-ral day in Salt Lake last week. |
