Mrs. W. J. Oppenheimer and Mrs. Zen Boothe spent the weekend in Salt Lake City visiting with Mr. Oppenheimer, who is improving in health at the LDS hospital. Bill Thomas, cox, left Sunday for Salt Lake City where he will receive assignment. He has spent a 30-day furlough with his parents M-S Charles Thomas. Glen Losee is home and has his discharge from the service. M-S Wind visited in Wendover last week. June Davis and Katherine visited visit-ed their families about ten days ago. John and helen Hersleff are still in Milford, where they are employed. em-ployed. Mitch" Clark and family from Van Nuys, Cal., are here visiting the Utah Clarks. Mrs. Olive Goody and daughter, Mrs. Dora Erickson, and granddaughter, grand-daughter, Mrs. Erickson, of Lewis-ville, Lewis-ville, Idaho, visited with her ne-hews, ne-hews, Winn and Will Walker Sunday Sun-day evening. Bill , Moulton has employment at Topaz. M-S Roger Walker will move to Topaz, where Mr. Walker has employment. em-ployment. Savell Johnson is coming right out of the kinks since Oz got out of the Navy. He's tearing in to all the unfinished work around the home. Mary J. Bunker has returned after af-ter a summer's visit in Salt Lake and Ogden, and is again settled for the winter with her daughter, Mrs. W. R. Walker. Mrs. Bunker was 86 on the 8th of October and is unusually active for her years. Beet harvest is progressing nicely. nice-ly. Threshing pretty much out of the way.
