Show Stolen Car Recovered at Cowboy Pass Tuesday morning about a.m. a.m. a.m. a. a m. m Norman Force of the Wasatch Service Station was roused by a customer wanting to trade his old spare tire for some gasoline Mr Force refused to make the trade so the man apparently a tramp abandoned the car and scouted around around around a- a round the block until he came to Roy Morgans Morgan's home iome Mr Morgans Morgan's car had been left left in front of the house with the key in the switch so the fellow had no difficulty in indri dri driving ng It off Roy did not hear the car leave the premises and and so so was surprised In th the morning to find it gone He quickly notified Sheriff Forster Forster Forster For For- ster who with Marshal Jack Bennett Bennett Ben Ben- Bennett nett started looking for the tle stolen car They contacted people from both directions on the til finally Jack Singleton of Gandy Gandy Gandy Gan- Gan dy reported he had seen a Pl PlYmouth Plymouth Plym PlYm- mouth m- m sedan parked on the side of the road at Cowboy Pass about 85 CS miles west of Delta along the Ely- Ely Delta highway The car was found there out of gas but apparently none the worse for the trip A 22 cal automatic pistol belonging to Wayne Vayne Morgan was missing from the pock pocket t of car No trace o of the thief has been found although the officers a at Ely were notified and warned The car the thief abandoned in Delta had been stolen from Mr H. H E. E Quinn of Tooele e who came to Delta Delta Delta Del Del- ta to drive it home |
