Show IZlack flock MRS. MERRILL MILLER Mr. and Mrs. Leon McCrary of LaMesa, Calif, and Frank Smith of San Diego, Calif, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Miller. This is the third year for the McCrary's to enjoy the Utah deer hunt. They returned to California very proud of their prize. Other friends and relatives that were here for the deer hunt were Mr. Frank Parmer of Salt Lake City, Charles Scarlota and party from Los Angeles, Oskar Kelly of Oasis and his party. Charles Scar-Iota Scar-Iota has been in Milard County hunting many times before but mostly on the Filmore Mountains, esp. up around Holden. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wendrich and their daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Lewis all of Salt Lake City were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Hampton Burke were in Mt. Pleasant. They took Obe Nelson and Ed Nelson to their homes so that they might be able to vote. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fleming left Black Rock to attend the wedding of their daughter to L. Lerrance Morgan of Albuquerque, New Mexico on Nov. 1st. Mr and Mrs. L. G. Clay of Mil-ford, Mil-ford, Utah were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hampton Burke. While here Mr. Clay spent some time meandering through the hills in hot pursuit of a deer. Mr. and Mrs. Leon McCrary, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Miller, Walter Miller, and Alden Avery were in Richfield. Mr. and Mrs. Hampton C. Burke entertained with a delecious venison ven-ison dinner, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hardy and their two children, Craige and Benniti, all of Delta. Merrill Miler and Hampton Burke were in Milford on business. |
