Show BY MARY JOHNSON Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hogan i are happy to have their daughter, Romay, home for her vacation. She arrived from Glendale, Calif., Tuesday. Mrs. Josephine Sudbury of Salt Lake has been here the past week with her daughter, Mrs. Jerry Niel-son Niel-son and afmily. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Carl Larsen of Provo came down and Sunday they took her back with them. Joe Pargis spent 'five days last week at the Intermountain Clinic in Salt Lake. He returned home Friday. . Mrs. Mary Smith was called to Salt Lake by the death of her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Nettie Thompson. She came home after the funeral Saturday. Sat-urday. Mrs. Hettie Johnson spent the week here with her daughters, Mrs Mina Overson and Mrs. Mary Johnson. John-son. Wednesday they with Mrs. Mary Jane Pargis enjoyed the afternoon af-ternoon at the home of Mrs. Rachel Rach-el Roper on her birthday at Oak City. Thursday afternoon they visited vis-ited Mrs. J. A. Banks at the Juab County Hospital in Nephi. Mr. and Mrs. Con Bass of Midway Mid-way were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Abeeelen Wednesday. Fred Banks returned to Salt Lake Wednesday leaving Mrs. Banks at the Abegglen home for a week. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Overson, Roger, Ralph and Keith vacationed vacation-ed in Yellowstone Park last week. Mr. and Mrs. Thurlo Wiley and Gary returned Friday from a fishing fish-ing trip at Mirror Lake. Mrs. Kirt Roper of Provo was here several days with her daughter, daugh-ter, Glenna Vest and family. Mrs. Jennie Huddleston and granddaughter Karen, of Salt Lake were guests of Mrs. Kate Hayes last week. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Douglas McMahn came down to get them. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Curt Johnson. Mrs. Anna Mc Mann was down from Tooele also. Mrs. Roy Thompson and son, Kent, arrived Friday for the Ashby reunion on Saturday. All members of the Nathaniel and Rodney Ashby Ash-by families met at Leamington for their reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Ashby and family were here, from Las Vegas, Mr. and Mrs. Mabian Ashby of St. George, with others of the families from Springville, Salt Lake and Fillmore. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Nielson and family left Tuesday morning, for a few days at Yellowstone park. Mr. and Mrs. Olen Sheriff and family and Miss Shirley Sheriff .were down from Centerfield over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mc Cardell and sons left for a vacation in Burley and Sun Valley, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Verdell Knight of Cedar City were overnight visitors at the Lou Thompson home. They visited Lou at the Delta hospital Sunday. |
