Show Oasis Mrs La Veda Bishc? The Oasis Primary held a Bazaar last Thursday evening. A program beginning at 7:30 was presented by the children under the direction direc-tion of Pres. Clare Petersen and her counselors, Ora Lovell, Norma Skeem and the teaching staff. The program was very fine and the Bazaar articles sold readily. The Primary is to be commended for its good work. Mrs. Blanche Crafts stake officer, was present. Last Friday evening Mrs. Lillian Roundy entertained at a dinner party in honor of her son, How-1 ard's birthday. Fifteen guests were present. Mrs. Ada Farley of Salt Lake City is visiting with her niece, Mrs. Inez Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Peterson of Provo and Stanley Anderson of Salt Lake City were also guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter M. Anderson Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. David Nichols were visited over the week end by their children, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Martin and son, and Elaine Stewart, all of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Stanworth and family of Mapleton and Mr. Art Duckett of Provo visited at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stanworth and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Willoughby. Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Bishop and sans from Cedar City visited their parents, over the week end. Mrs. Enoch Gillen returned home Saturday from Salt Lake City. She has been with her children Mr. and Mrs. Reed Swenson for the past 6 weeks. She brought little Beverly Swenson home with her. She will remain here for a week or two while her mother gets stron ger and adjusted to caring for the new baby. Lawrence Strang and Denny Walch from Salt Lake City spent the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fon Hawley. Jim Johnson from Salt Lake City and Calvin Webb of Tooele, were visitors at the Leslie Webb home over the week end. |
