Davis of Salt Lake City stopped in at the Black Rock Ranch to visit Mr. and Mrs. Mer-rill Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Coates of Ml. Fleasant were visitors at the Black Kock Ranch. Merrill Miller, Hampton Burke, and Walter Miller were guests of the Milford Lions to their dinner meeting. Excellent food was ser-ved and after the dinner the re-presentative of the UP railroad showed two pictures, "Cattle Coun try" and " Sheep Lands". Mr. and Mrs. Don Helwig and H. H. Henshaw of Laguna Beach, Cal., were visitors at the Merrill Millers. Merrill Miller and Hampton Burke were in Delta on business.. George Bush and son, Clark were dinner guests of the Merrill Mil-lers along with Mr. and Mrs. Don Helwig and H. H. Henshaw. Mr. and Mrs. Hampton Burke and Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Miller and Walter Miller were dinner guests of the D. M. Adairs. The Adairs served a delicious pheasant dinner. Everyone enjoyed it very much. Mr. and Mrs. Avon Barney en-tertained at a dinner this week for her parents, Brother and Sis-ter Johansen. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Don Johansen and child-ren, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Sorenson and children and Mr. and Mrs. Derral Christensen and children. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Sorenson and Mrs. Vera Barney took their fath-er to Mt. Pleasant Wednesday, where they spent the day visiting old 'friends. Mr. and Mrs. J. Lee Anderson spent Monday and Tuesday visit-ing their children, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Morgan May. The Seventies Quorum of Hinck-ley and Sutherland held a ban-quet in the Sutherland Hall on Monday, Nov. 12. Millard Owens acted as master of ceremonies. Parts on the program were read-ing by Sebrina Ekins, song by Dora Rose, paper by Dale Bishop, vocal solo by Blaine Spendlove, a piano sool by Hazel Walker and introductions of the new Sev-enties. After the Banquet they dan ced. Meeting Sunday night was by the Home Missionaries and the Stake Geneological Committee, with Ned Church in charge. Spea-kers were Fontella Bishop, Irene Sampson, Roy Twitchell, and Ned Church. The Desert Sentinels quar-tet sang two numbers. Miss Delia Johnson and a friend, Miss Ann Boucher of Toronto, Can-ada, both attending the BYU, vis-ited over the week end with Del-la- 's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Max Johnson are happy over the arrival of a new daughter in the Delta Hospital, last Friday. Fireside chat was held at the home of Kay Moody Sunday night. Gordon Moody took charge of the meeting. Gordon taught the group to sing "Silent Night" in Spanish, and they recorded their voices. Games were also played. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tennant have moved to Tooele for the win-ter. Mrs. Hazel Walker entertained the As You Like It Club at her home Thursday. Members present were Virginia Lyman, Dale Bishop, Eleanor Roberts, Manon Robison, Florice Sanford Elaine Turner and guests Irene Brumley, Peg Smith, and Deon Erickson. Capt. M. David Baker, of N.
