Show Lynndyl BY MARY JOHNSON Mr. and Mrs. Russell Dutson and little daughter, Robin, have returned retur-ned to Kansas after a ten day visit here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mills and Mr. and Mrs. John Dutson. They made a trip to the Manti temple while they were here and were accompanied accom-panied bv Mrs. Eva Dutson. Mrs. Mina Overson, Mrs. Hettie Johnson and Mrs. Mary Johnson spent Wednesday o'f last week in Oak City visiting Mrs. Frankie Finlinson on her birthday. Mrs. Rhea Whatcott visited Mr. and Mrs. Carl Whatcott in Vernal Saturday and Sunday. On Wednesday, Wednes-day, Mrs. Iva Howlett came over from Kanosh and she and Mrs. Whatcott drove to Provo where they made an overnight stay with Mrs. Clea Dutson and Bryant. John Whatcott spent the evening visiting visit-ing with them. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Nielson drove to Salt Lake and Provo where they visited their daughters, Roberta and Colleen. Miss Gladys Banks and Rex Ab-egglen Ab-egglen spent the week end in Mil-ford Mil-ford with Mrs. Maurine Miller and family. Miss Diane Overson ' returned home Friday after a ten day trip to El Paso, Texas. She went as a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jenson and family of Sugarville, who visited their -son, encamped there. Mr. and Mrs. Mac Thompson and little son of Milford spent Saturday Satur-day here visiting Mr. and Mrs. Lou Thompson. The men folks went goose hunting. Mrs. Donna Haycock and little daughters are here for the festive week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Nielson. - Here from Biggs, Cal. are Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Trotter for a visit with their daughter, Mrs. Howard Nielson and family. Sunday evening a group of Seminary Sem-inary students from Delta, under the directian of Ladd Cropper gave the program in church. A large crowd enjoyed the talks and songs of these young people. Monday evening a PTA meeting was held at the school house. A bus load of students of the Delta high school under the direction of Miss Ruth Hansen presented a very entertaining program. The meeting was presided over by Pres. Inez Wiley. The officers and teachers of the Sunday School attended the Sunday Sun-day School convention at Delta Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nielson, Mr. and Mrs Clead Nielson. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Abegglen, Mrs. Evelyn Eve-lyn Hogan and Mrs. Rhea Whatcott What-cott spent Saturday at the Manti temple. Don Greathouse is home this week from the BYU helping with the farm work. |
