Show -Oak City- Mae H. Shipley At Sunday evening services Wil-for Wil-for Sheriff and Mrs. Myrtle Lovell were the speakers, giving reports o'f their missionary sons, Scott Sher iff, at Borger, Texas, and Clead Lovell at Port Arthur, Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stuart have a new son born at Payson. Reports come of the arrival of a little son, born at Clearfield to Mr. and Mrs. Carwin Nielson. Mrs. Amy Faust is visiting at her parents home Mr. and Mrs. George Finlinson. Mr. and Mrs. Finlinson and Esdras Finlinson visited vis-ited in Salt Lake. Mrs. Faust returned re-turned with them. Sgt. Ardell Jenkins and wife and son, Emmeron from Huntsville , Ala., visited in Oak City . Mrs. Jenkins Jen-kins was the former Nelda Talbot. Mr. and Mrs. Basil Talbot from Benjamin visited in Oak City. Mrs. Clara Talbot is home again after a visit of weeks with her daughter daugh-ter Clara Wells, at Clearfield. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Christensen and Mrs. Grant Christensen visited a few days in Salt Lake. Saturday, Nov. 17 Sgt. Glenn Christensen and Sgt. Grant Christensen Chris-tensen left California for overseas duty. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Talbot , Mr. and Mrs. Harold Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. George Shipley, were at the Manti temple Saturday, Nov. 17. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Shipley celebrated cele-brated their 26th wedding anniversary anniv-ersary by a trip to St. George and attending two sessions at the St. George temple. Mr. and Mrs. Wil-ford Wil-ford Sheriff and Mr .and Mrs. Reed Lovell went with them. They also enjoyed dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Don (Merlene Lovell) Sch-mutz. Sch-mutz. Mr. and Mrs. Parley Elder were visitors Saturday in St. George doing do-ing temple work. |
