Show Try Out BocHo Education For Millard Schools Thursday, April 26, at 2:30 p. m., radio station KSVC in Richfield, in cooperation with the public relations re-lations department of the Millard county school district, begins a series of locally produced radio program designed to explore the possibilities of bringing outstanding outstand-ing events of the county schools to the public. At that lime a program featuring fea-turing the East Mil'ard Junior high school chorus, under the direction of Paul Petersen, and the brass sextet of the Millard high school, under direction of Dallin S. Nielson will be broadcast. For the remainder of the school year, these programs will continue to be broadcast, using available material from Millard, Delta and Hinckley high schools. If these programs are found to be satisfying a need, they will be continued next fall. At present, musical programs are being broadcast, broad-cast, although it is planned to utilize util-ize other school organizations for making up the programs. Some M the possibilities of such, a program of radio education are: broadcasting problems of a school nature on a county basis, giving the PTA an opportunity to present their programs to the public, and having gTades and classes on all levels of education participate by organizing programs of timely interest. in-terest. This practice of the schools has been carried on successfully in oth er parts of the state, and it is thought it will be a definite asset to the county as it is carried on here.
