Shipley At Sunday evening services El-der Don Pratt, a recently returned missionary from the Swedish mis-sion gave a very interesting talk. Elder Bryce Finlinson is home from his mission in Uruguay. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Anderson had their children, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Ranald Wright visit the past week. Mrs. Mabel Schick and her dau-ghters, from California are visiting in Oak City. Dale Melville o'f Salt Lake has spent the past 10 days visiting in Oak City. Mrs. Clara Atkin and children from Cedar City are visiting this week in Oak City. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Anderson were Oak City visitors. Miss MarGene Anderson has spent a few days visiting at Provo. Miss Shirley Anderson has been a Salt Lake visitor this past week. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Moulton and son and daughter and their fam-ilies visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. H. Anderson and Mrs,' Florence Jones Sunday. Fred Nielson, at the LDS hos-pital, is reported as slightly im-proved. His parents visited him at the hospital Sunday. Leo and Richard Arnold from Granger are visitors at David home this week. Mr. and Mrs. Parley Elder and Mr. and Mrs. Jerold Justesen at-tended a Elder reunion at Spring-vill- e, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Anderson attended a Cox reunion at Manti and did temple work. Their dau-ghters, Deana and Vivian returned home with them after a visit in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Anderson and family spent Monday at Provo. Oak City will not celebrate the Fourth of July in Oak City due to the reunion planned for Saturday, July 7th. The Oak City ball team wil play with the Scipio" team on July 4 at Scipio. Mrs. Agnes Strickley, from Salt Lake City, visited in Delta last week with her brother, John Hers-lef- f, and family. Hinckley News LYLA RAE TALBOT Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Wilkins and two girls, and Mrs. Wilma Barber visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Talbot last week. Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Palmer and Bill Black were visitors of Leonard Palmer last week. Thursday they made a trip to the Manti temple and spent the day there. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Blake and son Neil were visitors in Hinckley and Deseret last week. They visited with 'friends and relatives. Leaving here they went on into Kamas, Utah, and from there will go to Yellowstone Park and down the Spor. Chester p.nr, to stay all summer. Miss Louise Bishop has returned home from California where she has been working for the past few months. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Spendlove, and son, Ted, are visitors this week in Smithfield, Utah, where Mrs. Spendlove's mother lives. Mr. and Mrs. Lars Bishop were visitors at the home o'f Lars' par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Bishop, this week end. Linda Lue Talbot is visiting in Meadow with her grandmother, Mrs. Lula Gull this week. Mr. and Mrs. Goldwyn Cluff were visitors in Hinckley this week end. They came to get furniture to take to Provo with them where Goldwyn is going to school at the BYU. Their daughter, Diane, will stay with Sharon Hardy for the next two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Roe Buhanan and boys, Darrell, and Carl Ray are spending the week in the Beaver Mountains on a camping trip. Owen Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Davis held a birthday party last Saturday. The guests invited were Scott and Judy Draper, Rus-sell Talbot, Clair, Marie and Shir-ley Spencer, Donna Anderson, Richard Mecham, and Edell Spen-cer. They played games and then were served refreshments. A good time was enjoyed by all. Sam Knight and son, Chester, are visitors at the home of Rachel They brought their daughter, e, with them who has been at tending Girl's State for the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Marlow Nielson and children, David, Stephen, Marlene and Susan were visitors in Hinck-ley this week. Ronald Nielson, Duane Stewart, and Johnny Moody were home this week end after spending the week in Hill Field trying to find work. Jo Ann Stewart is in San o, Cal., where she is visiting with her mother. She took her small son, Michael, with her. Verlene Stevens is visiting in Borden with her brother and sister-- in-law. Last week the Hinckley 4-- Club met for the first time this year and started their 4--H work. They have tried to start the club several times but have been held up by other things. Leaders of the group are Birdie Lou Allred and Kathryn Manis. The girls chose the name Jolly Workers for the club. Officers of the club are pres., Margene Hil-ton; vice pres., Carol Keller; sec, Sylvia Bishop; reporter, Karen Pet-ersen. Members of the club besides those mentioned are Velma Terry Sherlene Talbot, Barbara Whicker, Barbara Black, and Virginia Stev-ens. They talked about the com-ing year and outlined the meet-ings that are to follow. Mrs. Armaline Lee, from Brigham City, visited her mother, Mrs. Mol-li- e Jacobs, during the week. .
