A I W W. S S. S has been functioning up to the present time without one CONSTITUTION OF THE A. A W. W S. S Article 1 Name The name of the organization J I shall be the Associated Women Students of the University of Utah Article 2 2 Object The object of this association shall be to further in every way way the spirit of unity among the women women women wom wom- en of the university to increase their sense of responsibility toward I each other and to be a medium by byI i I which the social standard of the university can be made and kept high Article 3 Membership All AIl the undergraduate women of the university shall be ipso facto members of the association Article 4 4 Election Election of Officers Sec 1 The officers of the association association association as as- shall b be a president a avice avice vice president a secretary and treasurer a publicity manager an accompanist and a chorister Sec 2 The officers of the association association association asso asso- with the exception of the publicity manager shall be erected in the following manner A number number num num- ber of candidates shall be nominated ed for each position by popular vote at a properly advertised mass meeting b Officers shall be elected during the month of April the date and place for holding the election to be determined by the election committee the chairman of which shall be appointed by the president dent c Officers and council members members mem- mem bers aers shall be elected by secret
