Show Oak City Play Draws Many To Benefit Show 1 A sum of $106.80 was realized for the new stake and Delta Third ward building fund from the performance per-formance of "An Arizona Cowboy" last Thursday night. The play was presented through the Oak City ward MIA, and sponsored by the Third ward MIA for the Delta showing. All amateurs, the cast gave an excellent performance and the aud ience was well entertained. Christian Chris-tian Anderson was a great comedian, comed-ian, with many a yarn dated 1889. And Thomas Pratt is about the blackest-hearted villian seen around these parts for many a year. The play is directed by Verl Jacobson. .The show has been presented in Oak City, Deseret, Lynndyl and Delta. On Thursday night they play in Scipio, and another performance per-formance is planned for Oak City. Between-acts entertainment included in-cluded songs by Mr. and Mrs. Jerold Justeson, accordion music by Eldonna Anderson and Luana Talbot, piano music by Afton Roper, Rop-er, and piano duet by Edith and Genevieve Anderson. |
