Show Leamington Mrs. Pearl Nelson Miss Maurine Grygla and Mr. Von Clements were married New Year's Eve at the home of the bride's grandmother, Mrs. Essie An derson. The ceremony was performed perfor-med by Pres. L. Jay Nelson and was attended by a large crowd of family and friends. The young couple will make their home in Eureka. A large crowd danced the New Year in at Leamington. The dance started at midnight Sunday night. Mrs. Lillian Penny and daughters daugh-ters returned to Salt Lake New Year's Day after spending the holiday holi-day week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wra. -Bradfield. Max Nielson has been seriously ill With pneumonia but is out of the hospital and feeling better now. Kay Lovell, son of Mr. and Mrs. La Forge Lovell, was operated on Thursday night for a ruptured appendix. ap-pendix. He is feeling better now and we hope he will be home soon Mr. and Mrs. Jos. T. Finlinson left Saturday to attend the stockmen's stock-men's convention in San Francisco. Before returning home they will visit Mr. and Mrs. Burnis Finlinson in Bakersfield. Mrs. Reuben Nelson and daughter daugh-ter returned home Friday from a two week's visit in California with Reuben's sisters. Mr. A. M. Harder is visiting in Tennessee with his daughter, Mrs. Ranee Hannah, and family. He went as far as Lampasas, Texas, with Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Harder who had been home on furlough. Mr. and Mrs. Oren Nielson are visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Josiah Nielson. He is also in the army and having a furlough at this time. Mr. and Mrs. William Walsh spent the weekend in Leamington with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dutson. While here they had their baby son blessed by his great-grandfather, Mr. and M. C. Dutson. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Nelson drove to St. George Saturday to bring Glenna home for a while because she was ill. She is feeling better now and hopes to return to school soon. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Nielson had their baby blessed at Fast meeting Sunday. They named her Gloria Kay. |
