Show WHO'S WHO? ? '" ; " V ' - - " i'v ) f " - - ; - - . . - ' . , ""-t ' id f ' ' Mill 1i flifflli I ' . " -. "t JMar.A.ifc k , Here are two young fellows who will share a birthday on March 23. They have been doing that for nearly 50 years. And they are twin brothers, although no one has ever claimed that they are as alike as two peas in a pod. The readers will have to speculate specul-ate on which brother it was that came to Delta about 8 years ago, and has made his home here since. The other stayed in their home town, with just occasional loops around this way to visit The twins look mighty stern and military when this picture was tak en - - probably facing their first year in school. But they weren't always so. In fact a dark bit of deviltry makes a blot black as coal on their otherwise fair report cards. Just by dint of cooking a little bit of cookery over a bit of fire in the hay pile, the twins got a fire started that swept through a goodly portion of their home town. This made some folks, including in-cluding their parents, get hot a-round a-round the collar and our heroes got raked over the coals. " The brother that lives in Delta likes to fish, but doesn't care to eat them after he has them in the bag. That makes him an ideal fishing fish-ing companion for those who sure like to fish but can't seem to catch them. Also prominently displayed in the picture is the boys' pet of many year, the spotted dog. He came by his name this way - - a travelling man from Denver gave the boys the puppy and they were so fluttered flut-tered they never thought of anything any-thing so obvious as "Spot" but plunked down for "Denver". That is about all on these earnest earn-est lads. They grew up to be school sch-ool teachers, and one still is. But the other brother switched on to another track, and both are kept equally .busy. |
